Schedule
I took Japan Airlines flight JL90 from Gimpo Airport to Haneda Airport. This flight departs Gimpo Airport at 7:50 and arrives at Haneda Airport in Japan at 10:00. Check-in starts at 6AM. You can use self-checkin machines.
Compared to Incheon Airport, which has been taking a long time to process departures recently, Gimpo Airport has the advantage of having a relatively short departure process and being close to Seoul. That’s why this route is always popular and expensive😅. When I arrived at Gimpo Airport in the morning, there were many people waiting for this flight.
Flight & seats
I used the B787 on my trip. The plane was relatively new. It was nice that the seats were 180 degrees reclined. It was neat and clean, as expected from Japan Airlines. Although the flight time is only about 2 hours, it is a big advantage that you can lie down. If you start your trip as soon as you arrive, business class can be a good choice. I was not very tired.

Meal
For me, the in-flight meal was very impressive. I couldn’t choose the meal. Bibimbap came out and an appetizer came out together. Although it was breakfast, I ordered wine. The appetizer was refreshing and good for my appetite. The vegetables in the bibimbap were fresh and there was an egg, which was good.
Although it was Japan Airlines, the taste was something that even Koreans would agree with. Since it was business class, they gave me ceramic plates and metal forks and knives. I could feel that the food was of high quality and that they put a lot of thought into it. I think Korean airlines should follow suit.

Overall Review
It was definitely nice to use business class because the flight wasn’t tiring. It’s also nice to be able to start your trip as soon as you arrive. Your luggage comes out quickly and you can quickly go through immigration. Of course, the downside is that it’s expensive 😂
It was my first time flying Japan Airlines, and the cabin was clean, the staff was friendly, the in-flight meal was delicious, and overall it was a great flight. I heard Korean Air is rebranding, so I hope they upgrade to the next level. I want to fly Japan Airlines often, but when I looked it up, I was really disappointed to find that in Korea, they only have Gimpo Haneda flights.
