How to take the Hangang bus
- Follow the line drawn on the ground to enter the dock.
- You must take a number ticket at the desk. Also, if you plan to transfer, you must mention it.
- Enter the boat in numerical order.
- It is said that if you plan to go outside, you must fill out an admission form using a QR code.

Inside the boat
The boat was new and clean, and the seats were quite spacious. They were soft and cushioned, not hard. I expected it to be hot due to the heat from the sun, but it wasn’t that hot because the air conditioning was running. It was great to take a boat ride on the Han River for 3,000 won.

Transfer information
You have to transfer once at Yeouido.
1. Receive a transfer ticket along with your boarding number at the departure pier.
2. Disembark at Yeouido Pier.
3. Wait in the lounge or use facilities (waiting time is approx. 40–60 minutes).
4. Enter the gate for your next bus using your transfer ticket.
5. Tag your transportation card upon reaching your final destination.
Thoughts after using Hangang bus
Since the Han River is symbolic of Seoul, the emergence of various modes of transportation utilizing it is welcome. The boat was spacious and comfortable. However, it took a long time to board and disembark. You have to take a number and wait just to enter, and since there is only one boat per hour, I think it would be very inconvenient to use during rush hour. 😭
