An atmospheric pub near Gangnam Station where you can enjoy delicious craft beer and Chicago-style deep-dish pizza.
I heard there was a pub with a great atmosphere near Gangnam Station, so I went to check it out. Goose island brew house includes an actual brewery where beer is made.
It is a two-story, standalone building; once inside, you can see the tanks used to store the beer. Even on a weekday evening, the place was packed with people enjoying beer.
Drinks & menu
They offer a variety of ales and lagers, with no single glass costing more than 10,000 won. They also serve sides like french fries and sweet potato fries, which paired well with the drinks. I noticed they have Chicago-style pizza loaded with cheese—it looked delicious, and I’d love to try that next time.
The beer I ordered was a golden goose ale. It had a lovely aroma and went down very smoothly.
I also ordered a Double IPA, and its bitter, hoppy aroma was superb. It definitely felt like a potent brew, though—just one glass was enough to make me feel a bit tipsy.
I’m glad I found a great spot in Gangnam to grab a drink with friends. I’ll definitely have to order some pizza next time.
