Lounges available for use when using Korean Air and Japan Airlines
The fastest way to get from Seoul to Tokyo is to take a flight from Gimpo Airport to Haneda Airport. Recently, Incheon Airport has been having problems with its long check-in period. I used Gimpo Airport for a more comfortable trip. It was a good choice.
There was a Japan Airlines flight connecting Gimpo Airport and Haneda Airport, so I used that. I finished the departure process relatively quickly. Since there is no Japan Airlines lounge at Gimpo Airport, I was invited to the Korean Air lounge. The lounge is located on the airside next to the Asiana Lounge. After checking in, walk west and you will see a signboard. It is located on one side of the airport. It is on the opposite side of the Japan Airlines gate, so it was a bit inconvenient to have to walk a long way to get to the plane.

It is available to SkyTeam members and those flying Japan Airlines, Air China and China southern airlines.
The lounge was smaller than I thought, but there were more people. Maybe because it was morning, there were no empty seats. But the interior of the lounge was clean. There were also many foreign travelers. It became quiet a little past dawn, probably because many flights departed. The food was clean and centered around what was needed. There were warm soups and other foods. There was some alcohol even though it was morning. There was also cup ramen, which was nice. The coffee wasn’t espresso, but it was Starbucks beans. The fruits and salads were fresh.
However, it was disappointing that it couldn’t be compared to the Japan Airlines lounge at Haneda Airport. The lounge didn’t feel luxurious and was crowded. I heard that Korean Air is currently undergoing a renovation, so I hope the Gimpo Airport lounge will be bigger and more stylish.
