A fancy local food restaurant located in Phuket Old Town
Phuket Old Town is a place you must visit at least once if you visit Phuket, with its beautiful buildings exuding a European atmosphere.
Among them, this restaurant is one of the must-visit spots we hear about, so that we have visited about three times. It suits the palates of foreigners well, the food is neat, and the desserts are excellent.
It is not difficult to find the restaurant. A giant lobster shape hangs on the wall of the shop. The entrance to the restaurant is white and neatly organized. The interior features a neat European-style design that women would like, and the tableware is clean.
When you sit down, they give you a thick menu, and you can also choose recommended items from a larger menu with photos. There are dessert and drinks. We ordered a mango smoothie and a coconut drink, and they were fresh and delicious.
Stir fried melinjo leaves with eggs
Actually I don’t know what these green leaves, but it’s fresh and good with eggs. I recommend trying it.
Fried shrimp
Very large shrimp with Thai spices. Shrimp is clean and fresh.
Poo Phad Pong Curry
It has an incredible umami flavor, made by scooping out the crab meat and stir-frying it with curry and coconut milk. It is fantastic when eaten with rice; I found myself scraping every last bit from the plate. It is usually difficult to remove the crab meat, but here, they prepared it with all the meat already removed, making it easy to eat.
Green curry
I love green curry, so I order it wherever I visit restaurants in Thailand. Creamy and hot soup makes my stomach comfortable. They gave it with noodle. The noodles went well with the soup.
My thoughts about this restaurant
Although it is a bit pricey, it is hard to find food this clean and delicious in Phuket. That is why I had my last meal here on the day I left Phuket. The drinks are also good, so I recommend ordering them together.
