A luxurious 5 star resort in Phuket with a variety of restaurants, bars, and an outdoor pool

Lobby

Public transportation is difficult to get to, so I took a taxi. Upon entering the hotel’s well-organized entrance, friendly staff guided me to the lobby. Because it’s a bit far from downtown Phuket, I also took a taxi here.

Checking in was in the afternoon, so I could see a beautiful sunset that seemed imminent. The lobby had a luxurious resort feel, and a refreshing purple welcome drink was provided.

The lobby, with its classic, high wooden ceiling, evokes the feel of a traditional Thai building. The lobby is filled with sofas and cushions, making it a great place to sit and relax during check-in and whenever you have free time.

Room

They gave me a suite close to the ocean. The bed was spacious and there was a warm jacuzzi outside. The facilities weren’t up-to-date, but the room had a classic feel rather than an old one.

The bathroom was huge and the bathtub was also huge, and they gave us so many towels that we couldn’t use them all. It was great after going to the beach or working out.

Outdoor pool

And the pool was truly huge. There was a pool connected to the guest rooms, and the central pool offered a variety of options, from a children’s pool to a deeper pool suitable for adults. The staffs were also generous. They provided cool water and thick towels for the guests.

Overall feeling

It’s located far from Phuket’s Patong beach, so it lacks the bustling atmosphere typical of Phuket, but instead offers a truly authentic resort feel. If you’re looking for a few days of relaxation without a care in the world, this is a great option over the chaotic Patong Beach. This is a place I definitely want to visit again next time I visit Phuket.
