Japan Airlines’ lounge with a nice runway view, clean food and a variety of drinks.

First of all, this lounge is located in Haneda Airport Terminal 3. If you are using Japan Airlines Business Class or have JMB Sapphire status or higher, you can use the Sakura Lounge.

When you enter the lounge, you can see that there are a lot of seats. The lounge is clean and comfortable. And, as expected from a lounge in Japan, it is very quiet. If you sit in a seat with a window view, you can see the planes landing through the large glass window. There were so many planes arriving that I gave up counting how many were coming down. After one plane landed, if you look a little behind, you can see another plane already coming down to the ground.

The food is also diverse. There is Japanese food as well as Western food. I tried the curry because it is famous, and it was a deep-flavored curry with lots of beef. It was fun because there was a vending machine that served rice. I definitely recommend eating curry with rice. There were also various alcohols. There was whiskey, vodka, red and white wine, champagne, Japanese beer, and Japanese sake, which was nice. I drank my last beer in Japan while watching the plane arrive on the runway. That moment was so precious. 😊 I was on a short trip to Gimpo Airport, but I thought I could really rest well if I used it before a long trip in Haneda airport. I hope Korean Air’s lounge will be better a bit more.
