Breakfast at the newly renovated the Westin Seoul Parnas
It was formerly an InterContinental Hotel, but has been renovated into a Westin Hotel. It is said that they operate a buffet for lunch and dinner, but in the morning, it is used as a breakfast restaurant for hotel guests.
It’s newly renovated and clean. The lighting is nice. Christmas is coming, so they’ve put up decorations.
The newly renovated space has a higher ceiling, giving it a more open feel. The restaurant was larger than I expected. However, after 8 a.m., people started lining up outside. Considering the hotel’s sheer number of rooms, I was surprised there was a wait for a restaurant this large. It made sense why they told us to arrive early for breakfast when we checked in.
Freshly baked bread, fresh salad, and fruit were served, along with freshly squeezed orange juice. There were even olives and prosciutto. Korean dishes were also presented in a refined manner.
The Eggs Benedict, with its generous portions, was a welcome surprise.
They even offered my coffee of choice upon request.
The restaurant was clean and had a wide variety of food, so I was looking forward to the lunch and dinner buffet.
However, on weekends, the rooms are often fully booked, and there are so many people that you have to wait even if you are a little late. We arrived at 8:00 and had to sit in almost the last seats. 😅
