Where to enjoy an authentic Australian-style brunch in Jongno, Seoul

I visited with friends on Sunday. It was fun because it’s in the middle of a residential area. I heard it was originally in Seongsu but moved here.

It’s between Unhyeongung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace. Get off at Anguk Station and walk.

I was surprised to see so many people when I arrived at 11 a.m. on a Sunday. I had to sign a waiting list and wait outside for a bit.

Stepping inside, I felt like I’d stepped into a foreign restaurant. The interior was clean and white, and sunlight streaming in through the glass windows gave off a weekend vibe.

The restaurant had an open kitchen, with a foreign chef diligently preparing food, and coffee was constantly flowing. The atmosphere was truly lively.

I ordered the Big Brekkie. Soft scrambled eggs were placed on freshly baked bread, and the thick sausage and grilled tomatoes were delicious. Grilled mushrooms and hash browns were also served with dipping sauce. The portion was generous and delicious. It was a great way to enjoy the weekend atmosphere while chatting with a friend.

I also ordered Eggs Benedict, featuring a poached egg on crispy bread, topped with a moist, savory sauce. The warm yolk bursts from the poached egg, moistening the bread. It was delicious with coffee 😋

If you want to experience a pleasant weekend morning atmosphere, I recommend going with a friend for brunch. However, it’s crowded on weekends, so it might be a good idea to go a little earlier than you think. They bake their own bread. It was delicious!
