Chinese restaurant in Taiwan with one Michelin star
This is a restaurant I would recommend to anyone visiting Taiwan.
It is located on the first floor of the Marriott Hotel. It is said that it received one star in the Michelin guide. As expected from a restaurant in a hotel, the luxurious interior is impressive. There were a lot of people eating so we waited for over 30 minutes.
There were pictures on the menu so it was easy to order. I ordered Futiaoqiang 佛跳牆 (braised scallop sea cucumber pork and chicken), Dongpo pork, and fried rice. As a restaurant in a hotel, it was expensive, but each dish was delicious. It also suited the tastes of Koreans. It was my first time experiencing buldojang, so it was savory. If you want to try high-quality traditional Chinese cuisine while traveling in Taiwan, we recommend you visit.

This branch serves the brand’s greatest hits from the past 40 years, such as the 70s classic, fish-shaped minced shrimp toast, alongside new creations like almond tofu dessert with peanut mochi and pu’er tea.
